Why donate to Young Carers Bedford Borough?

Imagine being just 8 years old and helping your mum manage her medication. Or rushing home after school to care for a sibling with autism. For some children and teenagers, this is their everyday life.

Young Carers Bedford Borough supports children as young as 4 who are caring for someone in their family with a long-term illness, disability, mental health issue, or addiction.

While caring can build resilience and compassion, it can also take a toll — making it harder to keep up at school, enjoy friendships, or simply have time to play and relax.

Your donation helps us give Young Carers the childhood they deserve.
From days out and wellbeing groups, to one-to-one support and guidance for families — every pound helps us reach more young people who are quietly carrying a big responsibility.

Help us make sure no Young Carer feels invisible or alone.

Your Donations

Your donation today will help us to continue supporting unpaid Young Carers in Bedford, allowing us to continue to support them physically, practically and emotionally when they need it the most. It could enable us to ensure that a Young Carer gets time to themselves through an activity day or group.

If you are interested in making a larger donation for something specific, please see our corporate partnerships page. Please contact [email protected] for more details.

Thank you very much for showing you care.
